The ownership may have changed but the quality of food and friendliness has not. Fabulous breakfast... Best Chicken Fried Steak I've had in awhile with excellent potatoes. The coffee is top notch and overflowing. And I appreciate the kind staff who are quick to boot. The only tricky part is parking, but Pete's is with the trouble.

I wish I could rate the service over 5 stars, because I would. Upon arrival, they greet you immediately with a “Morning!! ”. You sit anywhere you like. The servers throughout our meal would often check up on you. You notice they all (about 3 women) have sincere personal conversations with their customers and seem to have regulars. This was very warm and welcoming! Definitely someplace I’d want to come back. They had great menu options varying from Benedict’s to omelette to scrambles to pancakes. They have a lot of vegetarian options. We ordered the Migas Scramble, Mexican Breakfast, and Blueberry Pancakes. The Migas had chorizo, eggs, tortilla chips. The tortilla chips were slightly soggy but perfect because you could put a fork in them. It also had sour cream and cheese with scallions and it paired well with the dish. The blueberries in the pancakes were sour and were plain in flavor. Fluffy and balanced out the savory after our breakfast. The Mexican Breakfast had beans, rice, avocado, sour cream, eggs, peppers, and tortillas. Great with hot sauce! Basically DIY breakfast tacos.

I am a breakfast lover and this place has wonderful options for breakfast. My friend and I tried Brisket Benedict and avocado toast and both were great. Definitely will be back again.

A classic diner can be hard to find in Seattle, where many spots focus on trendy brunch aesthetics and charge 30 for eggs. Pete's Eggnest is a refreshing exception. With amazing staff, quick service, and a welcoming atmosphere, this place truly stands out. The manager, Tiffany, is one of the kindest people I've ever met. If you're looking for a classic diner with delicious food, Pete's Eggnest is the place to go!

Great spot with delicious food friendly and fast service and overall good vibes! Prices are reasonable , menu has variety of options and interior is comfortable and cozy. Location is lovely too, on not so busy street with lots of greens and brick houses. Scrabbled eggs ( California ) , avocado toast and reuben sandwich were just perfect

Hash browns were fine. Brisqit was a bit dry. Hollandaise was great. Poached eggs were a bit overdone. Still very tasty
